PROFILE

Nomos Architects is an international design studio with a research-oriented approach, based in China. The studio's key members have diverse cultural backgrounds and have received training from some of the world's most prestigious universities. They also have extensive experience working at various architectural firms. Nomos Architects prioritizes the relationship between people, architecture and cities, exploring a range of discourses driven by the reproduction of knowledge and culture. The studio offers services such as multi-scale architectural design and interior renovation.

With regard to spatial design, Nomos Architects aims to create a design that represents the norm of daily life, which deviates from the norm to resist mediocrity and blindly consumed spectacles. Similar to the sensation of gravity when stepping out of a swimming pool, these deviations aim to reset one's connection with the everyday world and free them from the constraints of conventions. However, over time, these deviations will eventually become the norm. Thus, Nomos Architects' ambition is to constantly innovate and move beyond this dynamic cycle in the field of architecture.
